PETERLOO - UPDATE

The date for this year's commemoration gathering has been set for Sunday 20th August.

Full details will be posted here and on the 'Peterloo Memorial Campaign' Facebook page in due course.

Mike Leigh's film 'Peterloo' is now in rehearsal, with exciting news about the cast due very soon. Release is scheduled for 2018.

We also have some very exciting news in the pipeline about a stunning new visual commemoration coming to the Manchester skyline!

Why not take this opportunity to visit the Corner Shop and pick up a tee-shirt, Liberty beanie hat or Liberty baseball cap so you are ready for the commemoration?

We also have copies of 'Return to Peterloo' the excellent book produced by Manchester Region History Review and edited by Robert Poole.

There are several new books about Peterloo in production and these will be available on this site once they are published.
