Bob Ashworth
Singer, songwriter, actor and raconteur.
Heritage Activist, Pace Egger, and enthusiastic cook.
Cat afficionado and drinker of rum.
I have known Bob for more than 45 years, during which time I have seen him perform in many guises.
Whatever he turns his hand to you can rely on Bob to put in a sterling effort and a rousing performance, be it musical, comedic or dramatic.
As a singer/songwriter he has graced the rectums of many of the finest folk clubs in the Northwest.
As a Pace Egger and an actor he has assumed the roles of both Beelzebub, and God Almighty with equal success.
His wit and alacrity with words put him on a par with the likes of Tom Lehrer, Jake Thakerey and Benny Hill.
With Bob on your bill your audience will go home with a smile on their faces and a song in their hearts.
He also has lots of hats.
Bob works solo, as one half of Bunting and Frolics and in the trios The Free Radicals and Flat Back Four, alongside Geoff Higginbottom and Martin Gittins
